Q: How did you get started in this industry?
A: Early in my career when I was working for a major financial company, my manager came to me and requested I take over the responsibilities of the access control system. The system was always needing much attention due to hardware issues, so I immersed myself into the world of IT and got hooked from that point on. I knew nothing about computers, let alone complex software. I enjoyed learning new things and the technicality of it all!
Q: What is one thing that instantly makes your day better?
A: Something that always makes me smile is when I help someone else make their day better.
Q: Tell us a little bit about your office. What do you keep on your desk?
A: Our Atlanta office is still under renovation, but I have managed to secure a cubicle in the front main entrance. I work in office about 90 percent of the time, so having a tidy space is important to me.
Q: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
A: I love spending my days off with my wife, Sonja. Much of our time together is spent working with our local church to help others in community through programs and events. I also enjoy golfing, cooking, and learning what’s new in the IT world!
Q: What is one word you would use to describe KORE and why?
A: Motivating. When I am in the right environment, I am more energised and motivated to achieve my goals – and KORE does just that.
