Energy is an essential service, key to every aspect of modern life. We use gas and electricity to heat our homes and offices, power our phones and tablets, the appliances we cannot live or work without and, increasingly, our cars. The pace and scale of changes to generation, networks, retail supply and consumption are unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. It’s no surprise that the advancement of technology and IoT are helping innovate the energy and utilities markets in many ways.
In a recent IMC Industrial IoT virtual event, KORE took part in the IIoT in the Supply Chain track, which took a look how IIoT solutions are assuming a bigger and more essential role than ever before in assuring supply chain consistency. Connected devices are allowing for increased visibility, maximisation of assets, improved collaboration, and improved customer service.
